Randy Aeberhardt

VP Strategic Initiatives at Tantalus Systems

Randy Aeberhardt has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Randy started their career as a Programmer Analyst at Parry Software Ltd. in 1984 and later worked as a Programmer Analyst at Knapp Consulting Ltd. in 1985. Randy then joined Gemini Group (Canadian Airlines) as a Programmer Analyst from 1985 to 1988. In 1988, they became a Project Leader at Bedford Software Limited, and in 1990, they held the same position at Modatech Systems Inc.

In 1990, Aeberhardt joined Snif Security Inc. as the VP - Customer Services, where they played a key role in developing and selling a wireless security system. Randy also developed monitoring station software and performed quality assurance on the wireless hardware.

Aeberhardt then worked at Micro Designs Inc. from 1995 to 2000. Here, they held the position of Project Consultant, working on various projects such as a rental management system for Budget Rent-A-Car and an online consumer lending system for insurance brokers.

Since 2000, Aeberhardt has been with Tantalus, where they have held multiple roles. Randy started as a Senior Systems Architect and worked their way up to VP Customer Operations. In their current role as VP Strategic Initiatives, they oversee field deployments, customer support, and technical services, while also collaborating with product development and managing key business relationships.

Throughout their career, Aeberhardt has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a knack for building and managing teams.

Randy Aeberhardt attended The University of British Columbia from 1979 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
