Alex R. Carr

Alex R. Carr is an accomplished executive in the publishing industry with extensive experience in development and strategy. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Publishing Development at Tapas Entertainment since June 2021, Alex previously held key positions at Warner Bros. Entertainment from July 2018 to February 2021, including Group Editor for DC, where responsibilities encompassed content strategy and talent acquisition. Prior experience at Amazon from December 2007 to May 2018 involved roles such as Executive Editor for Amazon Publishing UK, where Alex successfully launched the UK Non-Fiction business and established strategic metrics for sales and engagement. Additional notable positions included managing multiple publishing imprints and launching the first publishing program for Amazon, demonstrating a strong track record in content development and editorial leadership.
