Roan Hendranata has extensive experience in software engineering and development. Roan currently works at TapClicks as the Director of Engineering and Lead Engineer of Core, where they are responsible for improving and optimizing various aspects of the company's platform. Roan has successfully led an engineering team to integrate SEO and PPC Research into TapClicks' Competitive Intelligence platform. Roan has also designed and implemented a Research Rest API to serve data to the platform. Prior to their current role, they held the position of Vice President of Software Engineering and Software Developer at iSpionage, a TapClicks company. In this role, they played a key role in growing and building the engineering team until its acquisition. Roan collaborated closely with the CEO, business developers, and managers to define web-based application roadmaps and requirements. Roan was also involved in designing and managing the company's data gathering process and infrastructure. Before joining iSpionage, Roan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at BCL Technologies, where they designed and implemented robust Windows applications using C# and .Net 2.0 framework. Prior to that, they were a Java Card Senior Software Engineer at Sun Microsystems, where they improved the requirement and design of the Java Card product and designed and developed Java Card applications and clients. Roan also has experience as a Smart Card Application Developer at Schlumberger Technologies, where they improved the company's Open Platform Card specification and developed various smart card applications using Java Card APIs. Additionally, they have worked as a Software Engineer at Lam Research, where they developed a multithreaded networking tool and a GUI layer using Objective C and Assembly language. Roan's experience also includes working as an Honor Researcher at the Robotic Lab UC Berkeley, where they programmed an embedded control system for General Motor's zero gravity automatic lifter project.
