Alan Lau

Alan Lau serves as the Chief Business Officer at Animoca Brands, a prominent Web3 company specializing in digital entertainment and blockchain. In addition, Lau holds positions as a member of the board of directors at Tapestry, co-chair of the Asia Pacific Acquisition Committee at Tate, and co-chair of the Asia Art Circle at the Guggenheim Museum. Lau is also the vice chairman and board member of M+, a museum for visual culture in Hong Kong, and chairman of Para/Site, an independent contemporary art space. Previous roles include executive chairman and CEO of Tencent's WeSure, where Lau developed a greenfield FinTech business, as well as a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, where multiple new divisions were established. Lau's educational background includes a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Oxford.
