Laurel Barkan currently serves as the Manager of Consumer Insights for Coach at Tapestry, a role commenced in October 2023, focusing on strategy and consumer insights within the organization. Prior to Tapestry, Laurel held the position of Director in the Brand Strategy Group within the Consulting Division at Kantar from June 2017 to October 2023, as well as serving as a Senior Consultant and Consultant in the Brand Strategy & Insights Division, where expertise in designing and executing quantitative and qualitative research for Fortune 500 companies was demonstrated. Laurel's experience includes serving as a Public Affairs Intern at the U.S. Department of State and a Journalism and Media Intern at Wicked Local Media Solutions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and English from the University of Rochester, complemented by studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina in 2015.
