Daniel L.

Daniel L. has over 10 years of professional experience. In 2011, they began their career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, where they provided evidence-based interventions to youth, young adults, and families. In 2016, they became a PhD Candidate at the University of Southern California, where they were a Provost Fellow, project manager, and lecturer. Daniel's research examined mental and behavioral health in relation to trauma and mindfulness for youth and young adults using qualitative and quantitative methods. In 2021, they joined Keck Medicine of USC as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as the Head of Program and Coaching at tapouts.

Daniel L. obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the same institution. In 2015, they were awarded a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
