Dena Stokes

Dena Stokes is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various financial roles. Currently serving as a Staff Accountant at TAPPI since August 2019, Dena previously worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Discover Staffing for a brief period in August 2019. Dena has a strong background as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager at Firebrand Apparel Group from November 2016 to February 2019 and as a Bookkeeper at Catco Distributions, LLC from September 2014 to July 2016, where responsibilities included transaction management and financial reporting. Earlier experience includes roles at Abbey Insurance Service as an Insurance Agent and Processor, as well as a Tax Associate at Tax Solutions. Dena began a career in the technology sector as a Quality Assurance/Business Analyst at Digital Insight from May 1999 to June 2002. Dena holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Computer Science with a focus on Information Science from Lander University, completed between 1994 and 1999.
