Carmen Spohn

Carmen Spohn has over 23 years of experience in various roles and companies. Carmen'smost recent role is as a Staff Platform Engineer at Taptap Send, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, from February 2022 to May 2023, they worked at Deep 6 AI as the Director of Engineering. There, they also held positions as a Platform Engineering Manager and a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. Before Deep 6 AI, Carmen worked at Shiftgig as the Director of Site Reliability Engineering from July 2019 to September 2021, and as a DevOps Technical Lead from October 2018 to August 2019. Prior to that, they had roles at Accolade, Inc. as a Lead DevOps Engineer from September 2017 to September 2018 and as a Senior DevOps Engineer from September 2016 to September 2017. Carmen Spohn's education history includes an MBA in Operations, which they obtained from Wright State University from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Universidad de Concepción from 1992 to 1997 and earned a degree in Industrial Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Carmen has also acquired several certifications. Carmen became a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 in December 2015. In 2009, they obtained ITIL v3 certification from Exin. Most recently, in May 2021, Carmen became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate through Amazon Web Services (AWS).
