Ab Akhnikh

Ab Akhnikh is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in treasury and risk management. Currently serving as Manager of Financial Risk Management & Treasury Projects at TAQA Group since July 2023, Ab previously held the position of Head of Treasury for Lloyds Bank Europe at Lloyds Banking Group from August 2019 to July 2023, leading a team responsible for treasury functions across subsidiaries. Prior to that, Ab was Head of Balance Sheet Management at BinckBank, overseeing a Treasury/ALM team and managing balance sheet development. Further experience includes Senior Treasury Associate roles at Delta Lloyd, where responsibilities encompassed ALM, funding, and risk management, as well as positions at Ahold and Deloitte, focusing on data integrity and financial consulting. Ab Akhnikh holds both an MSc and a BSc in Business Mathematics and Informatics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
