Alina Schaaff is a highly experienced professional in asset management and business development within the energy sector. Currently serving as VP of Asset Management and VP of Business Development at TAQA Group since May 2022, Alina has a robust background in managing assets across various regions and projects. Previous roles include Asset Manager for Russian Assets and Regional Finance Manager for UAE Gas & MENA at Mubadala Petroleum, where Alina played pivotal roles in joint venture integrations, financial management, and commercial evaluations. Alina began her career with significant contributions at Sakhalin Energy Investment Company and KPMG, focusing on tax advisory services and multinational business operations. Alina holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Imperial College London, and a Diploma with Honours in International Management from Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics.
