Andrew Ochse

Andrew Ochse is an accomplished professional in the fields of cybersecurity and project management, currently serving as Manager - SOC/CERT at TAQA Group since March 2022. Prior to this role, Andrew held various positions including Chief Security Operation Centre Architect at Digital14, where responsibilities included the design and implementation of advanced cyber infrastructure, and Senior Manager SOC Operations at DarkMatter LLC. Andrew's experience encompasses leading Security Operations Centers, managing security event monitoring and response, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. As a co-founder of AOON and HRP Geothermal Power, Andrew has a strong background in IT consultancy and renewable energy project development. Andrew holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg and has consistently engaged with technology vendors throughout a career that began in product management at Nanoteq.
