Derek Wilson

Derek Wilson currently serves as a Drilling Materials Controller at TAQA Group since May 2023. Prior to this role, Derek held the same title at Apache Corporation from July 2014 to April 2023. Earlier in their career, Derek gained extensive field experience as a Field Service Supervisor at Schlumberger from May 2000 to July 2014 and worked as a Roustabout at GLOBAL DRILLING from March 1999 to May 2000. Derek's educational background includes a degree in Vehicle Mechanical & Electrical Engineering from Fraserburgh Tech College, obtained between 1994 and 1996, as well as attendance at Banff Academy from 1989 to 1993.
