Ewan Wright

Ewan Wright is an experienced professional in the field of decommissioning and engineering, currently serving as Decommissioning Project Manager at TAQA Group since January 2015. Ewan has held various key roles, including Decommissioning Programme Lead and Lead Decommissioning Operations Engineer, contributing to TAQA's strategy for maximizing economic recovery from the North Sea assets. Prior to this, Ewan worked at Wood from May 2012 to January 2015 as a Mechanical Support Engineer and Asset Focal Point for Brent Delta Decommissioning, where responsibilities included supporting offshore maintenance teams and managing subcontractor performance. Ewan's early career included a role as Proposals Engineer at Balmoral Group, focusing on client documentation and project budgeting. Ewan holds an MSc in Decommissioning from the University of Aberdeen, expected in 2025, and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, completed in 2010.
