Gary Evans

Gary Evans has extensive experience in offshore operations, currently serving as Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) at TAQA since June 2011, where responsibilities include ensuring safe and sustainable operations in compliance with company standards. Previously, Gary held roles as Responsible Engineer and Stand-in OIM, overseeing maintenance, facilities, drilling, integrity, and construction, while ensuring a zero backlog of safety-critical maintenance. Prior experience includes a position as Offshore Operations Engineer at Maersk Oil from December 2002 to 2010, focusing on project management and asset plans, and serving as Chief Engineer on contract with Kerr McGee and later Maersk Oil. Gary completed education at Liverpool John Moores University in 1986.
