Gary Mowat has extensive experience in health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) management within the energy sector. Currently serving as Vice President HSSE & Risk for the Generation division at TAQA Group since August 2021, Gary previously held roles such as HSE Business Partner and has led HSE functions for Tullow Ghana, where responsibilities included overseeing EHS for drilling operations. At Tullow Oil, Gary was the Group Occupational Health and Safety Manager, formulating safety standards and guidelines. Previous experience includes roles at CNR International as Senior SHE Advisor and at Schlumberger as QHSE Advisor and Mechanical and Hydraulic Technician. Gary holds foundational education from Bridge of Don Academy from 1980 to 1985.
