Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith is the Vice President of Communications for TAQA’s Generation business, a position held since January 2023 where they lead the global communications function. With over 17 years of experience, they have served in senior communications roles across the UAE, Oman, and Australia. Prior to their current role, Smith was the Vice President of Media Relations at TAQA Group and worked as a Group Account Director at a leading UAE communications consultancy. Their educational background includes both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communications from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Smith also has experience in various roles, including Client Servicing Manager and Tender Coordinator, among others.
