Lee Nicholson

Lee Nicholson has extensive experience in the mechanical and marine engineering sectors, beginning with service as a Marine Engineering Mechanic in the H.M. Royal Navy from October 1991 to June 2001, where responsibilities included maintaining complex machinery in challenging conditions. Following this, Lee transitioned into various roles in the oil and gas industry as a Mechanical Technician with multiple companies, including Wood Group and AMEC, from 2003 to 2016, focusing on shutdown work and machinery maintenance. Notably, from June 2001 to July 2004, Lee worked as a Mechanical Fitter at Motherwell Bridge Nuclear, performing outage work at nuclear power stations across the UK. As of November 2016, Lee holds the position of Mechanical Team Lead at TAQA, demonstrating a sustained commitment to leadership and technical expertise throughout a diverse career in engineering. Education includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the HM Royal Navy, achieved between 1991 and 1998.
