Mark Otterson is a Senior Geologist at TAQA, a position held since 2017. They possess extensive experience in geological development, having previously served as a Development Geologist at Penn West, where they worked on a variety of projects, including the Swan Hills region and unconventional drilling opportunities. With a strong background in acquiring and evaluating properties, Mark contributed significantly to strategic acquisitions at Penn West Petroleum from 2007 to 2010. Mark is currently pursuing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Geography and Geology at the University of Regina.
