Steve Armstrong

Steve Armstrong is a highly experienced Senior CCS / CCUS Well Engineer at TAQA, specializing in the Porthos carbon capture and storage project in the Netherlands since September 2017. Armstrong's extensive background includes roles as a Well Engineer and Night Drilling Supervisor with a focus on projects involving carbon capture, extended reach drilling, subsea decommissionings, and workovers. Prior experience at AGR as a Wellsite Drilling Engineer included significant projects on semi-submersible rigs, and earlier positions at TAQA and Halliburton encompassed a range of drilling and operations roles from engineering to field operations. Armstrong holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with Financial Management from the University of Strathclyde.
