Steve Clark is an experienced engineering professional specializing in decommissioning within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Decommissioning Engineering Manager at TAQA since October 2012, Steve has been instrumental in developing removal strategies for topsides and substructures of TAQA Bratani’s Northern North Sea assets, including Eider, Tern, Cormorant North, and Cormorant Alpha. Proficient in evaluating various dismantling methodologies, Steve has provided significant insights into the most cost-effective removal processes. Prior to TAQA, Steve worked at Wood Group as a Project Engineer and held roles as Modifications/Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer at Oxy. Steve holds a Master’s Degree in Project Management from the University of Aberdeen, obtained between 2011 and 2015.
