John Mathieu has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John started their career in 1987 at Tex's Toys as a Retail Salesperson. In 1994, they became a Producer at Sega before moving to Electronic Arts as a Senior Producer in 1995. In 1998, they joined Round Zero as a Member and Sponsor.
In 1998, John also began their long tenure at Microsoft, starting as a DirectX Evangelist and later transitioning to various roles such as Program Marketing Manager, Director of Global MTC Alliance, and Director of Global Business Development. John worked at Microsoft for a remarkable 20 years, until May 2018.
From 2016 to October 2017, John served as the Board President of the American Section of the Lycee International of Saint Germain en Laye.
Finally, in May 2018, John became the Managing Director/Strategic Partnerships at Taqtile.
John Mathieu earned a Bachelor's degree in English from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, they attended Henry M. Gunn High School, though the specific years are unknown. Additionally, John Mathieu has obtained several certifications, including "Avoiding Phishing Scams" and "Cybersecurity at Work" from LinkedIn in August 2021, as well as "Mastering Sales: A Toolkit for Success" from Kellogg Executive Education in September 2020.
