Taquería Chingón is a chef-driven taqueria in Chicago’s Fulton Market founded by Chef Marcos Ascencio and Chef Oliver Poilevey.
What began as backyard BBQs and late-night pop-ups evolved into one of Chicago’s most respected taco concepts, earning a Michelin Bib Gourmand and recognition from the Chicago Reader for Best Taqueria and Best Taco.
We focus on handmade tortillas, serious technique, thoughtful sourcing, and food rooted in the energy and culture of Mexico City.
