A high school like no other, Tara offers an engaging Waldorf® curriculum, world travel and compelling theatre. At the heart of our vision is the belief that deep work in the performing arts inspires an all-encompassing love of learning. Further kindled by the passion and expertise of our faculty and direct experience of culture and history through travel, this enthusiasm leads to academic excellence. Our outstanding productions are collaborative rather than competitive. And the spirit of ensemble – commitment to each other, the school, the community and the world – is embodied in our substance policy and honor code and permeates every aspect of our program. Profound thinkers and compassionate human beings, our graduates lead extraordinary lives in fields ranging from astrophysics to education and from environmental law to theatre.
