Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and system design. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Tarana Wireless, Inc. since June 2022, Aaron specializes in systems software, bootloader, kernel, and custom drivers for wireless products. Previously, Aaron held key roles including Director of Software Engineering at Cambium Networks, a position attained through the acquisition of Riverbed Networks' Xirrus Business Unit, and at Riverbed Technology and Xirrus, where responsibilities included oversight of flagship products and services. Aaron’s earlier experience includes significant positions at BYU-Idaho, Convergys, and Freeport, demonstrating a solid foundation in network engineering and technical support. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and an Associate of Science in General Studies from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
