John Laeger serves as the Sr. Vice President of Operations and has held several leadership roles at Targa Resources since June 2014, including Sr. Vice President of Permian Gathering and Processing and Vice President of Commercial Optimization. Laeger oversees the technical development, cost management, and scheduling of oil, NGL, gas gathering, and processing expansion projects across multiple states. Additionally, Laeger represents the company in mergers and acquisitions activities. Prior to Targa, Laeger worked at CenterPoint Energy/Enable Midstream Partners from January 2011 to June 2014 as Senior Director of Commercial Engineering, leading significant project developments with a capital expenditure exceeding $1.5 billion. Earlier experience includes positions at CenterPoint Energy and Syntroleum Corporation, where Laeger directed pilot plant operations and managed engineering projects. Laeger holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Tulsa, earned in 2001.
