Maxwell Chia

Maxwell Chia is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in control systems and electrical engineering within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer for Targa Resources since March 2014, Maxwell has successfully executed and managed multi-million dollar projects and designed control systems for various facilities, including cryogenic gas plants and compressor stations. Previous roles include Control System Specialist at Automation and Electronics, where testing and commissioning of process control systems were key responsibilities, and Electrical Engineer at Valin Corporation, focusing on custody transfer metering systems. Maxwell's background also includes significant contributions to the US Navy, where management of the Reactor Control division and training of personnel were critical. Maxwell holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has completed training at the Naval Nuclear Propulsion School.
