Target Cells is a biotech startup founded by scientists from Poland and the USA, specializing in stem cell research for cardiac regeneration applications. 

Backed by Medi Ventures (Poland) and Chicago Poland Ventures (USA), we develop targeted stem cell-based therapeutics for myocardial repair to address cardiovascular diseases - the leading cause of death globally.

Our Achievements:
- Holder of 2 patent applications: European (2024) and PCT (2025) 
- Successfully delivered 1M PLN EU-funded R&D project, resulting in a prototype of a breakthrough in vitro diagnostic assay enhancing the efficacy of stem-cell based therapies for cardiac regeneration
- Winner of "Innovation Voucher" R&D grant from Małopolska Centre for Entrepreneurship
- Top performer at FENG's 2024 Smart Track (scored 23/25 points)
- Strategic partnerships with leading institutions incl. Jagiellonian University in Krakow
