Ashim Ashim

Ashim Ashim is a Research Associate at CyGenica since November 2021, specializing in the study of well-behaved proteins over-expressed from E. coli. Prior to this role, Ashim served as a Senior Researcher at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research from July 2018 to December 2021, demonstrating expertise in protein expression and purification for large-scale cultures, as well as experience with intrinsically disordered proteins and segmental isotopic labeling for bio molecular NMR spectroscopy. Ashim began academic training with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (Honors) and continued to earn a Master's degree in Chemistry from Panjab University, with studies spanning from 2013 to 2018, transitioning from inorganic chemistry to protein biology and biochemistry.
