Ata Mahjoubfar

Ata Mahjoubfar is a technology leader specializing in machine learning, particularly in deep learning and computer vision. Ata earned a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Science, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran and the University of California, Los Angeles. Ata has held various research and leadership roles, including as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the California NanoSystems Institute, and currently as the Director of Machine Learning at Target, where they focus on multimodal learning, object detection, and AI solutions for machine learning clusters. Prior to this role, Ata served as Lead Data Scientist at Target and a Machine Learning Engineer at Dali Analytics.
