Dan Covert

Dan Covert is an accomplished supply chain professional with extensive experience in inventory strategy and management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Inventory Strategy and Performance at Target, Covert has previously held leadership roles at ADUSA Procurement, where oversight of demand services included forecasting and replenishment operations, and at Retail Business Services, where the establishment of a supply chain innovation department was achieved. Earlier career roles at Delhaize America included team leadership in demand planning and analytics, as well as strategic sourcing. Covert began the professional journey with an international graduate traineeship at Delhaize Group in Belgium. Academic credentials include a Master of Applied Science in Supply Chain Management from MIT and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Mathematics from Colby College.
