Emily Dunning

Emily Dunning is currently the Lead Operations Research Scientist at Target, where they focus on algorithm development for planning systems. With a strong background in optimization algorithm development, Emily has held roles as a Senior Operations Research Engineer at Carvana and as a Senior Member of the Research Team at Barnstorm Research Corporation, where they applied statistical modeling techniques for planning algorithms. Emily's earlier experience includes positions at Intel Corporation, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Penn State University, further underpinning their expertise in logistics, operational efficiency, and academic research. They hold a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Commonwealth University and Penn State University, respectively.
