Jake Vandelist

Jake Vandelist is the Director Counsel for Litigation & Investigations at Target, having previously served in various legal roles, including Director Counsel for Regulatory Operations & Investigations. They gained extensive experience as an associate at JONES DAY®, where they defended corporate clients in complex civil litigation, and as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Prior to their current role, Jake completed a J.D. at the University of Minnesota Law School, graduating magna cum laude, and held law clerk positions at both the U.S. Department of Justice and the Hennepin County Attorney's Office. Additionally, they contributed to legal education as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School.
