Jared Anson has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as a Senior Engineer on the Autobahn Team at Target since June 2016, focusing on a distributed caching platform utilizing Netflix Hollow and Kafka across over 1,800 stores and various data centers. Jared has also contributed to the Kafka Team in both frontend development for a Kafka Portal and as a DevOps Engineer, enhancing Kafka Platform as a Service with custom tools and automation. Previous experience includes working on a notification API in Go during a leadership rotation and optimizing security metrics on an open-source platform. Earlier roles involved outreach as a SOIC Ambassador at Indiana University, providing tech solutions to nonprofits as a Serve IT Development Intern, and a software engineering internship at Angie's List. Jared holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
