Josh Peterson

Josh Peterson has extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, primarily with Target since July 2008. In the role of Director of Logistics for First Mile Sourcing and Optimization, Josh leads the development of capacity management solutions and the optimization of Target's transportation management system. Previous positions include Director of Logistics for Domestic First Mile and Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed transportation network strategy and system expertise. As a Group Manager in Field Engineering, Josh focused on enhancing supply chain reliability and established a team for supporting automated distribution centers. Josh's earlier experience includes roles at Target Canada, where proactive leadership in facility operations and project management contributed to the successful startup of automated distribution centers, and as a Corporate Engineer at G&K Services, managing engineering audits and equipment efficiency. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
