Melanie Owen

Melanie Owen has a strong background in the retail industry with various leadership roles. Melanie worked as the Vice President Design at Target starting in July 2018. Prior to that, they were the Vice President Creative Director at Nordstrom from July 2013 to June 2018. From July 2009 to June 2013, Melanie served as the Senior Design Director at Urban Outfitters. Before that, they held the role of Vice President Design at Quiksilver from August 2007 to July 2009. Their career in design began at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. where they worked as the Director/VP of Design for Pottery Barn Kids and Teen from an unspecified start date in 2002 until 2007.

Melanie Owen attained an Associate of Arts degree in Merchandise Marketing with a minor in Product Development from FIDM in the years 1993 to 1995. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design/Merchandising from American InterContinental University between 1996 and 1999.
