Mike Berg

Mike Berg is a Lead Data Engineer on the High Performance Computing Team at Target, where they focus on supporting and customizing Apache Druid to enhance data engineering practices. Previously, Mike served as a Hadoop Engineer at C.H. Robinson, architecting and supporting data platforms and integrating various big data technologies. Mike has also held several roles in technical support and engineering, including as a Network Specialist at EMC Corporation and a Copilot Solutions Engineer at Dell Compellent. In addition to their industry experience, Mike contributed to academia as an Adjunct Instructor at Century College, where they designed a Data Storage Certification Program and taught multiple courses. Mike earned a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
