Monique Chenier, MA, SHRM-SCP, currently holds the position of Human Resources Director at Target, a role assumed in August 2023. Prior to this, Monique served as Director of Talent Acquisition for Shipt from September 2020 to October 2023, leading recruitment efforts for the Target subsidiary. Monique's experience includes a tenure at Target as Sr. HR Manager - Technology, where strategic advice was provided on organizational structure and people initiatives. Additional roles include HR Integration Manager at Capella Education Company, where Monique focused on change management initiatives, and Director of Employment and Diversity & Inclusion at Hackbright Academy, where Monique advised major companies on workforce diversification strategies. Monique's extensive background in human resources spans over a decade, with key contributions to performance management, leadership development, and diversity initiatives across various organizations. Monique obtained an MA in Human Resource Management from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a BS in Communications from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
