Rick Walstrom

Rick Walstrom is the Director of Device Engineering at Target Corporation, where they have led a global team responsible for the company’s guest-facing device infrastructure since 2017. With over 15 years of experience in IT, they have successfully managed a hardware portfolio worth over $250 million and have spearheaded initiatives such as the rollout of self-checkout systems and the implementation of EMV chip and pin infrastructure. Previously, Walstrom held various positions at Target, including Senior Manager of Point of Sale Hardware Engineering, where they oversaw a team managing 55,000 point-of-sale devices, and as a lead business analyst at REV Solutions, focusing on e-commerce projects. They earned a BA in Management from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2007.
