Russell Calder

Russell Calder is a seasoned engineering manager and creative technologist currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Target, where they manage the internal tooling team for Slingshot CMS. Previously, they held various leadership roles, including Sr. Manager at DIRECTV, where they developed next-gen cross-platform products, and Associate Director at Jet.com, leading engineering prototyping efforts. Russell co-founded Tinkr Labs, focusing on cross-platform development tools, and has also worked at Walmart Labs, overseeing the delivery of multi-tenant site merchant tools. They studied at the University of Advancing Technology and are currently enrolled at Penn State University.
