Shannon Schultz

Shannon Schultz is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in data engineering and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Data Engineering at Target since March 2025, Shannon previously held several senior roles at Discover Financial Services from November 2016 to March 2025, including Sr. Director of AI/ML Platform Engineering and Director of Enterprise Platform Strategy. Prior work experience includes positions at STATS LLC as a Software Engineer and at The University of Illinois as a Systems Engineer. Shannon is furthering professional development through the Executive Education Women's Leadership Program at the Yale School of Management, commencing in April 2023, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University.
