Sonya Kapoor

Sonya Kapoor is a Senior Software Engineer at Target, where they focus on frontend web development for target.com using technologies like React and TypeScript. Prior to this, Sonya served as a Fellowship Coordinator at OPAWL, enhancing AAPI feminist leadership initiatives in Ohio. They also held roles as Cincinnati Regional Coordinator and Ballot Initiative Fellow at the Ohio Organizing Collaborative, where they led community organizing efforts and developed student leadership. Sonya began their career with a degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, where they also worked as a Student Assistant developing diversity and inclusion initiatives.
