Vinay Sathyan

Vinay Sathyan is a Lead Data Scientist at Target Corporation, bringing over 16 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, and Business Intelligence to address complex business challenges primarily in the US retail industry. Since September 2008, Vinay has worked across various domains, including finance, marketing, and merchandising, utilizing statistical techniques and machine learning for process improvements. Prior to joining Target, Vinay served as a Consultant at Symphony Marketing Solutions, focusing on market research for the US Consumer Packaged Goods sector, and held quality systems and production planning roles in manufacturing. Vinay earned an MBA in General Management from Central Queensland University and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University.
