Wayne Hawkinson

Wayne Hawkinson is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering at Target since December 2014. In this role, Wayne leads the IT Security Architecture and Engineering organization, focusing on various domains such as endpoint security, network security, data protection, and security operations. Prior to this position, Wayne held multiple leadership roles at Thomson Reuters, including Global Manager of Network/Security and Storage, where responsibilities encompassed engineering support for the organization globally. Wayne’s career began in the US Army, emphasizing leadership and teamwork. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from North Dakota State University.
