Yan Chen

Yan Chen is a Lead Machine Learning Scientist with extensive experience in natural language processing, search, and recommendation systems. Currently a Lead Data Scientist at Target, they oversee projects and mentor data scientists. Previously, Yan held significant roles at Wayfair, where they led efforts in personalized product recommendations and contributed to advancements in machine learning project evaluations. Additionally, they conducted research in NLP at A*STAR and developed deep learning applications for news recommendations at Huawei. Yan is pursuing a Master’s and a PhD in Computer Science and Technology.
