Yi Wang

Yi Wang is currently a Senior Research Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer at Target, focusing on search and recommendation systems, generative AI, large language models, and vision language models. Previously, they served as an Applied Scientist at Gartner, where they worked on image search engines and summarization processes. Yi has also held roles as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist/Data Scientist at First Data Corporation, specializing in fraud detection and call center efficiency through advanced machine learning models. They are pursuing a PhD in Information Systems and a Master’s degree at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and have completed a Master of Science in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology.
