Jorge António has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Novos Talentos em Matemática at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. From 2015 to 2016, they were a PGSM Internation at the FSMP (Fondation Sciences Mathematiques de Paris). From 2016 to 2019, they were a PhD student at the Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III). From 2019 to 2020, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Strasbourg. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Data Scientist and Software Developer at Caravela Energy Partners. From 2021 to 2022, they were a Solidity Developer and Cofounder at Meta Creators Co. Currently, they are a Rust Developer and Solana Blockchain at Aldrin, working to build reliable smart contracts on the Solana blockchain.

Jorge António has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Instituto Superior Técnico, which they obtained between 2011 and 2014. Jorge also obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from Pierre and Marie Curie University between 2014 and 2016. Additionally, Jorge has obtained several certifications, including How to Win a Data Science Competition: Learn from Top Kagglers (with Honors) from the Higher School of Economics in May 2021, Object-Oriented Data Structures in C++ from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Information Sciences in February 2021, Ordered Data Structures from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in February 2021, Unordered Data Structures from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in February 2021, Practical Reinforcement Learning from the National Research University - Higher School of Economics in August 2020, Bayesian Methods for Machine Learning (with Honors) from the National Research University - Higher School of Economics in July 2020, Introduction to Deep Learning (with Honors) from the National Research University - Higher School of Economics in July 2020, and Natural Language Processing from the National Research University - Higher School of Economics.
