taringa! is the digital nation made up of history, culture, users, content, technology, and talent. A nation where creative freedom flows, and where we seek to make history, as we have always done on the web.
History and culture, because since 2004, taringa! has changed the internet in many ways. We have generated iconic moments, phrases, jokes, characters, and a recognizable identity: the “taringuero,” a person who is authentic, who seeks to express themselves, and rejects the idea of being the same as everyone else.
Users and content, because we are 30 million taringueros who express ideas without fear of rejection and are always ready to defend them. We laugh and enjoy expressing ourselves.
Technology, because with our app, we provide an innovative and disruptive experience to Spanish-speaking users, where content is king and valuable connections are queen. At the same time, we took an important step into the future by starting to build our platform foundation on web 3.0, which gives us true freedom over our data and our economy, being the pioneers in giving this perspective to a social community.
Talent, because our multicultural team is made up of passionate people looking to change the world through technology, content, and meaningful connections. We want everyone to have an important place in the world, within our nation. We give them the voice they need.
We have an identity, a culture, a language, and, above all, the independence to say what we want, and to rebel when we are censored. taringa! is the nation of all those who dream of expressing themselves and all those who want their value to be recognized.
