Ken Depaola

Vice President, Business Development at Taskforce

Ken DePaola has an extensive and diverse work experience in the media and publishing industry. Ken started their career in 1979, holding various sales and marketing positions with increasing responsibility at the Chicago Sun-Times. In 1997, they became the President & Publisher of Midwest Suburban Publishing, and later served as the General Manager of the Chicago Sun-Times from 1999 to 2001.

From 2001 to 2007, DePaola worked at the Chicago Tribune Media Group as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Ken then moved on to become the President of Sales and Marketing at Tribune Publishing Company from 2007 to 2008.

Afterwards, DePaola joined Newsday in 2008 as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Ken then worked at The Wall Street Journal from 2009 to 2015, holding the position of Vice President of Multi-Media Global Sales.

In 2015, DePaola joined tronc (formerly Tribune Publishing) as the Senior Vice President of Sales and stayed until 2017. Ken then became a Partner and Owner at Paladin 360/Signal from 2017 to 2018.

Most recently, DePaola has been working at Taskforce LLC since 2018 as the Vice President of Business Development.

Ken DePaola attended the Miller College of Business at Ball State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. Prior to their college education, they attended Notre Dame High School.
