John O'Hara

John O'Hara has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial and technology sectors. John currently serves as a Board Member at Adaptive Financial Consulting since April 2023. Previously, they held the role of Venture Partner and Advisor at Fidelity International Strategic Ventures starting in November 2022. Additionally, John has also served as a Mentor at FinTech Innovation Lab London since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Board Member at FINBOURNE Technology starting in May 2022.

Before their recent roles, John co-founded Taskize and served as the Co-founder and CEO from January 2012 to December 2021. John continued as a Board Member at Taskize after stepping down as CEO. John also held the position of Board Member at INETCO Systems Limited since January 2020.

In terms of their previous experience in the banking industry, John worked as a Managing Director at NatWest Markets Plc from July 2013 to May 2015. Prior to that, they were the Chief Architect for Energy Trading at BP from March 2012 to July 2013. John also worked at Bank of America as the Head of Architecture & Strategy for Global Equities and Global Commodities from November 2009 to December 2011.

John's early career was with J.P. Morgan, where they held various roles over a span of 16 years. John served as the Chief Architect for Global Equities and Global Fixed Income and held the position of Distinguished Engineer from February 1993 to November 2009.

John O'Hara completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from Aston University. John attended Aston University from 1987 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended Ballymena Academy from 1981 to 1987, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
