What is Taskm8?

The ability to find reliable and cost-effective support for “unskilled” work within the home and local community can prove to be a real difficulty. Some many channels and platforms will provide a solution for the services of a skilled electrician or plumber, a builder, or a gas engineer. If, however, you require to locate services for general tasks that do not require any practical skillset (unskilled work), or to obtain help and support for a local or national charity organisation in which you are involved; or even to find companionship as you are lonely, housebound, or restricted by some form of disability, then the options are not so readily available. Often the lack of needed support or a reliable solution means that these tasks are either left undone or completed by a family member, neighbour or at an unacceptable cost.

By Identifying a mate to provide a solution for a task, "a taskm8," a satisfactory and mutually beneficial outcome can be established at both ends of this equation. taskm8 has been launched to provide an easily accessible platform that enables individuals, community helpers, charities, and support groups to quickly and simply identify a solution for the completion of unskilled, often non-urgent tasks, at a price that meets "their own" budgets.

This same platform also allows individuals seeking additional income an easily accessed listing of potential opportunities in a desired geographical location, within their preferred area of activity and on a totally time flexible basis.

Anyone wishing to have a task completed is identified within the process as a "tasker." Those wishing to complete the task to generate income are identified as the mate or m8. The combination of this mutual requirement is captured in the term taskm8.
